The BAS/BLS both have 60 electives you can select from...
Exactly what I understood. The BLS with the minor in Management broke down as 40 gen ed credits, which I'm I'm trying to knock out with just Sophia (which I really like), 18 credits for the Management minor and then 62 electives. I'm sure you guys all know Cliff Stumme; this is what he calls the Chipotle degree approach. Funny name, but I like the idea of all those electives where I can pick what interests me most, just as you mentioned.

Why not umpi history & political science BA? Sounds like it might take a smidge longer, but you'd probably also enjoy it more.

Another good one too. I'm a few months away from enrolling while I work on Sophia, but that one is definitely on my list. I think it's ok if it takes a little longer. I don't want it to take 2 years, but if it goes an extra semester, that would be fine.

It shouldn't take more than 1 extra session for most students. In fact, if you enjoy the subject, it can actually be faster to do that instead of completing a degree that you only sort of "tolerate".
