I don't see this school listed as a CEPH accredited school:

As a brand new program, it will not be CEPH accredited. CEPH notes in its Accreditation Procedures that "The time from the beginning of the applicant period to an accreditation decision will vary but typically takes approximately three years." I have also watched at least one impressive MPH program take years longer than I would have expected to attain CEPH accreditation.

WGU is a good option, you can compare it to other CBE options such as Walden and see if it comes out on top in many categories including course content, cost, ease, speed to finish, etc... I would keep your options open for a first choice or two, and then a backup option like Walden.

If you are a nurse or medical provider and earn an unaccredited MPH, besides adding more post-nominals, it is basically worthless. CEPH is a necessary programmatic accreditation! Even then, healthcare professionals with an accredited MPH are numerous. You really have to ask yourself what your goals are. Do you want to work in government, research, or academics? Are you a healthcare professional who wants to beef up your CV to get a public health internship? Having taken biostatistics and epidemiology coursework has helped me understand clinical journals, research, and statistical analysis better.

Oops, Walden has the MHA and BPH (Bachelors, not the Masters) tempo learning options... But that was just an example, you should do your search and have a 'short list' of options and put some on as top choices and at least one backup.

spoke with a WGU intake person, and here is a quick summary of the conversation:
WGU will not evaluate any transfer credits for the MPH program until after October 1, 2024. This means I will have to wait to receive credit for the following courses: - Principles of Epidemiology - Biostatistics and Analysis - Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health - Public Health Finance and Funding - Public Health Leadership and Administration - Public Health Education and Promotion The Practicum project uses simulated data, so no clinical site, hours, or mentors are needed. It sounds similar to a Squire 2.0 project to me. WGU states that they have set up the program for CEPH accreditation, and the process has already started, with accreditation being their end goal. Due to the Practicum being simulated, completing the program in one term is possible. Like most startup programs, there are many unknowns, and I'm unsure if all the responses provided were definitive. Should I start in August and try to complete the program in one term before anyone notices, or should I wait for the credits to be evaluated I'm not as gung Ho as was earlier. Too many what if

They didn't accept any graduate transfer credits until a few years ago. The MSCIA accepts the most transfer credits.
