ASQ, the American Society for Quality ( Quality Training Courses - Learn Professional Quality Topics | ASQ) has may courses and tests for different levels Quality Assurance knowledge. Unfortunately, ASQ has not been evaluated by either ACE or NCCRS. However, I did find several PLAs in the Learning Counts database in regards to quality subjects. So a path to credit via ASQ through Learning Counts would work.

I thought passit was saying that Logistics was needed. It's Quality Assurance that's needed. Never mind.

I recently sat for a CBE. Proctoring was through Examity.
I've no experience with ProctorU, so I can't compare. The proctor from Examity was polite and professional. I believe the service uses GotoMeeting for the videoconferencing part. I would say the whole thing went pretty smoothly. I found it interesting when I was scheduling the final exam that proctoring seemed to be available 24/7 (unconfirmed).
I guess sanantone's right: the exams would be much more popular if one could register directly without going through the initial enrollment process. On the upside everyone I've contacted at CSU was very helpful, professional, and quick to respond.
Thank you very much sanantone for this fantastic find!

That is correct. I was also asked to hold my ID close to the camera so the proctor could confirm my name.
I received an email listing all the requirements after scheduling the exam online. Dual monitors were not allowed. I was using a notebook hooked to external screen. I highlighted this to the proctor and showed that I was keeping the lid of the notebook down at all times. He was fine with it. You had to have your device (notebook, tablet, etc...) connected to a power source. Obviously no phones or headphones are allowed. You had to be alone in the room, using a clear desk. The exam allowed one scrap paper.

Were you required to be an enrolled student at CSU and take at least one traditional course through them in order to be eligible to take CBE exams? I was just told that by an admissions person there. I was under the impression that you didn't have to be enrolled or take a course with them...

About a month ago I emailed them and asked, and they said you had to apply and pay the admission fee, but didn't say anything about taking a class. hrm...

You apply to CSU as a non-degree-seeking student. There is no admissions fee, and you don't have to take any courses.
