Unproctored and self paced. It focuses on the AWS platform and claims to prep the student for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. It would be interesting to see if there's some kind of partnership program between ASU and AWS for this. It's looking like they have a lot of self paced offerings these days which I like to see.
Edit: this course might be part of a soon to be announced cloud mastery certificate offered on ASU EA/UL. Would be cool if they offered free/discounted vouchers for the certification exams too.

Yeah, they even have the 1 credit $25 ASU UL course with the same number as well: https://ea.asu.edu/courses/business-tech...s-cis-194/
Even if it's a set of courses, they could have numbered it in a sequence or added letters to it for association or differentiation of the courses.
For example, name the group of courses CIS 194A up to CIS 194Z if they're part of a specific set of courses to a cert, dip, or degree...

X94 is the course number ASU uses for special topic classes. Check the site, all the Google Cert sequence has X94 course numbers including the 1st 3 courses that are already CIS194. There's also CGF 194 and others. It would have been nice if they made at least one of them Upper Level, though... Maybe there're other future courses in the sequence planned at the 294/394 level.
