Lilpuglover Wrote:Southeastern Louisiana University Based on this, it looks like you have completed the "Written Communication" requirement of the TESU psych degree map, 6 out of the 12 credits needed for "Knowledge of Human Cultures" section of general ed, 3 cr from "Understanding the Physical and Natural World" (at least one more CR needed). The only thing you've met in the Area of Study for Pysch is "Introduction to Psychology." I'm not sure how TESU will accept your social work classes as, but likely as "free electives," so those two courses plus your academic success course would give you 8 of your 21 CR needed there. But TESU might be generous and give you those two SW courses as Gen Ed electives, or SUPER generous and count them towards your Psychology Electives, but that is unlikely. Combine this info with the test-out options from the Wikia i linked to above, and you have a bit of a foundation.

Actually, does anyone know if TESU will give "Knowledge of Human Cultures" credit for Scoial Work classes? if so, you've knocked out that whole section.

Can you let me know which of my credits you used where to satisfy the requirements?

Written Communication: ENGL 101 FRESHMAN COMPOSITION, ENGL 102 CRITICAL READING AND WRITING
Knowledge of Human Cultures: SOC 101 INTRO SOCIOLOGY, HIST 201 AMERICAN HISTORY TO 1877 Understanding the Physical and Natural World: GBIO 106 INTRO TO BIOLOGY PRIN I Introduction to Psychology: PSYC 101 GEN PSYCHOLOGY I Free Electives: SE 101 FRESH ACADEMIC SUCCESS (2cr) uncertain: SW 101 INTRO TO SOC. WORK, SW 202 CHILD WELFARE i just realized I overlooked LS 102 INTRO TO INFO RESEARCH (1cr) the first time around. I doubt they'd let you use that one credit to meet the 3cr Info Lit requirement, but it'd be worth a shot. If you're successful, you'd have to make up the remaining 2cr as additional gen ed electives. Otherwise it's likely a Gen Ed elective as itself that you can use.
