Need help making a plan for BA Psychology from Excelsior
#1
Hello! This is my first time posting but I've been lurking for awhile. I want to make a plan for a BA Psychology from Excelsior. I have found a few from years past but I still can't seem to make sure all the courses I need are covered. I have some credits from a previous University. Can anyone help me for a plan of all the exams I need to take to complete a degree? I know I have a few courses you are required to take from Excelsior. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I can't read your course list, it's too small. Any way to repost it?

Any particular reason for choosing Excelsior? It's not a bad choice and I'm not trying to dissuade you if you're set on that school. I just ask because I have TESU pysch plan built (and a Psych degree there myself), so I'm more familiar with them. You get to avoid some of the higher UL requirements (and possible higher price tag) of Excelsior as well.

Honestly it was the first school of the big 3 that I looked into. I'm open to TESU if it's cheaper and saves time! I'm still new to this and I'm open to whatever college is best for my situation

Google Drive is filtered at work so I'll have to check that out later, but here is a basic TESU pysch plan you can compare your credits too. This is only area of study and not your general ed stuff, but I link to a general ed plan on that page too:

So that's where I get confused. Which gen ed classes do I need? I find bits and pieces of plans and I'm trying to pieces them together to make a full plan. Including gen ed and my area of study so I can start planning when to take everything. And how much do you think I would need to spend at TESU if I take everything by examination except the courses TESU makes you take?

Here is the full TESU degree map for a BA in Pysch:

Thomas Edison State University: Psychology

For the part of that map under section I. General Education, you can use Sanantone's general ed options found here: Sanantone's TESU General Education Options After July 1, 2015 (these are not the ONLY options, but they're a good starting point).

For II. Area of Study, you can use my map that I linked above: JSD's BA in Psychology (after July 1st, 2015) (this is pretty comprehensive, I try to keep it up to date and it's almost every option available, at least as close as possible to every option).

For III. Electives, these are "free" electives, you can use any transfer, ACE, NCCRS, or PLA credits you want here to meet the 21 threshold.
