I was looking into Excelsior lVN to RN and called to speak to someone at Excelsior. The admissions counselor told me the program is going to be reviewed by the Texas State Board of nursing in 2017. Makes me wonder if I could finish there, and then if the board says No. I could sit for boards in another state and apply for license as an RN from neighboring state. In the past the State board position was that they did not evaluate programs in other states. Anyone have any thoughts? Words of encouragement?
