Hi - you may want to fill out the second part of the template, so the board members can provide better recommendations:
https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

The Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce certificate could be a good one to complete, as it is worth ACE credit and is a solid baseline certification.

At $1500 per 8-week session, UMPI has a BABA Marketing Degree that is competency-based and they accept the Google marketing certificate - up to 90 credits can transferred into the degree, missing classes could be transferred in from Sophia & Study.com and he could a minor if he so wished. It is likely he can finish in 2-3 terms for a total cost of $3K-$4.5K, plus the cost for Sophia and Study.com:

General Education: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...ts_Roadmap
BABA Marketing: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan

TESU has a BSBA in Marketing as well and at a glance, your son has met the RA requirement with plenty of extra room and I believe the general education since he has an AA, but I would leave it to others to confirm. He could complete a 15-credit term to take advantage of the flat tuition rate (currently $4299). With TESU, he can bring in up to 105 credits into the degree plan if he does the 15-credit term.

Other options that come to mind:
SNHU

WGU:

Being in NYC, you could also look at CUNY.

For example, York has a BS in Marketing:

https://york-undergraduate.catalog.cuny..../MARKET-BS
Completed: HAU MBA | BA Economics (US) | Finland Open Studies @ XAMK/Metropolia/Helsinki/Laurea
Certs Completed: Scrum CSPO/CSM | Google PM/Data Analytics/Marketing

He will not go back to CUNY again, it took 17k for him to get his A.A and the employees there as far as administration just aren't good at their job at all. Everything there was like pulling teeth.

That definitely sounds like a bad experience with CUNY, which is sad. I think UMPI would make the most sense in terms of efficiency and cost, but TESU is another solid option.

Seems like we'd all benefit with a bit more info. You haven't posted enough info.
Maybe your son should complete some free ACE classes first.
Keep working and taking free classes until he figures out what he wants. Grades aren't everything but with young ppl they might be a sign that he not truly passionate or serious about what he's studying.
Whatever you'all decide to do, keep things free, for now. Look into CLEP and Saylor for those business classes.

Basically, I would work on a balanced mix/match trifecta of certs, degree, experience as UMPI doesn't accept D grades I recall, if that's the case, you would need to take some alternative credits towards anything that had a D or lower. I would apply to UMPI and get an evaluation completed to see what remaining classes are needed for the BABA Marketing concentration, I would have recommended the BAS/BLS with a marketing minor if that worked - but they don't have a minor available for that!

No, an associates does not cover the GenEds at TESU. In fact, it looks like he has quite a few GenEds to do as his associates doesn't seem to have a lot of them. This isn't necessarily a bad thing as all the GenEds are available from ACE providers.

I would apply to TESU (only $50) and send in the transcript. I'm not sure exactly how his transcript will fit in the BSBA marketing degree with all the design and animation courses. Unfortunately, the BSBA has fewer elective slots than most of their degrees. That said, TESU is one of the most flexible with transfer credits, and will accept D grades except in certain GenEds (like the required English) and in the Area of Study.

I'd be tempted to look at WGU as well. An associates DOES cover the GenEds there, although they don't require as many to begin with. Edit: Actually that may just be for the IT and CS degrees. Still worth looking into.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)
