Need Gen Ed recommendations?

Hi everyone! My advisor approved some of my credit by exam Excelsior nursing courses as upper level credits from a 4 year institution even though they were for an associate degree! (Yay) Rounding up my BSN and I need six more gen ed credits, but they can’t be a credit by exam like a CLEP or DSST. Going to try to submit a syllabus from study.com, ed4credit, etc for approval to my advisor and wondering what you all might recommend? I need a US culture credit and an other culture (global awareness type courses). I’ve looked at tons of various self paced/community college type options .... but if I can get one of these credit sites approved for even cheaper, why not?!

I *think* I am going to submit for approval for StraighterLine courses. Can anyone advise on what I should take?

I'm having a hard time trying to select something for the "Other Cultures" area since world history and religion are not my strong areas. Wondering if someone could tell me if Intro to Religion or Survey of World History would be better? Or Western Civilization would work as well I believe. Maybe it doesn't matter - I am just mentally drained trying to wrap this up without my family suffering too much!

For my US area, I was going to select cultural anthropology as I read through enough threads to see it appears to be doable.

Any input is appreciated!
