I took the CLEP sample questions on the College Board website and did well but they seemed too easy. Are the exams much more difficult than the samples or are the samples a fair representation of the actual exams?

In my experience, the College Board's sample questions are very representative of the material found on the actual tests.
Course clear! You got a card.

bnm,
I guess it depends on the questions you were answering and the subject(s) they covered. Bibby is right, the questions are very close to what you will encounter.

The sample questions are fairly indicative of what you'll find on the test. I'd just add that in my experience nothing has been a better gauge of readiness than a practice test. I also believe that practice tests are the best studying you can do! If you can pull off a decent score on a practice test (even with little or no study), you should have no problem passing the real thing. Good luck!

Decided just to take A/I Lit today. I only took the short practice exam on the College Board website. Got a 71. That's the easiest 6 credits I ever got!
