Natural Sciences?
#1
Thought I would get you test veterans' opinion. I was thinking about taking the Natural Sciences CLEP in about 5 days. It has been a little over a month since I took Biology. In your opinion from taking the Natural Science exam, do I need more study time?

The NS exam is roughly 50% Bio so you need to brush up on all you learned there PLUS add Chem, Geo, physics, and astro. I took an additional 2 weeks of prep to do this.

Good Luck!

Ok, so I just took Biology today and PASSED with a 60 (my college requires a 57). I decided I would take it this past Tuesday and studied for probably 30 hours using IC and the REA book.

I'm told that the Natural Sciences test is 1/3 Bio as it is, and I would really like to pass it while I have the Bio stuff relatively fresh in my mind. My college requires a 62.

What would y'all suggest for prep? I'm getting the REA book. Anything else you found helpful?

My guess would be just study the Peterson's exams, and that in combination with the REA book should give you more than you need......

Hi! I'm new to InstantCert and have been very encouraged by the forum postings. I'm studying for Ethics in America now. After I take that exam I plan to plunge into the Natural Sciences challenge. I'm more worried about that one, too. I have the Barron's guide and The Princeton Review - Cracking the CLEP and I bookmarked several scientific terms sites. I've had no science classes since high school ~ ages ago! What else do I need? What's an REA book?

Any plans for Natural Sciences on InstantCert soon?

Well, I'm taking it tomorrow night. I really have no idea if I'll pass, but now's the time to give it a go. Classes are really going to pick up very soon, and I won't have time.

So here goes! I've done REA practice tests and a passyourclass study guide. And I just did Biology a week and a half ago.
