Cheapest online associates degree in Psychology
#1
Does anyone here know what the cheapest online associates degree program in Psychology would be or at least be able to point me in the direction of some sort of search engine to help me find it? Thanks in advance for any help.
Looking to strengthen my resume and pick up some new knowledge with at least one other degree.

Additionally, I mentor youth through a non-profit, have a hand in raising several children, and also have friends who have struggled with fitting a degree into their lives. As such, I'm not here searching for degree plans exclusively for myself.

Bachelor of Arts - Political Science (Brick-and-Mortar Institution, 2012)
Bachelor of Humanities - English Secondary Education (Brick-and-Mortar Institution, 2012)
Master of Education - English (Brick-and-Mortar Institution, Expected: December 2014)

This isn't quite the cheapest, but it's a smart option:

This will give a student an AA in General Studies with all the general education requirements and most of the concentration requirements met for a Bachelors degree in Psychology at COSC.

Application Fee $75
Student Services Fee $245
Technology Fee $50
Graduation Fee $205
Cornerstone $1038
3 DSST Exams $300
6 CLEP exams $600
Straighterline Biology Lab $149 (plus lab kit)
GRE Psychology $150
Total: $2812
(note, DSST and CLEP figures include $20 per test for administration fees)

You can search GetEducated.com | Review, Rate, Rank & Compare Online Colleges & Degrees or in-state community colleges. I haven't checked to see if Clovis Community College or New Mexico Junior College offer an online psychology degree, but they're cheap for non-residents. Otherwise, TESC would be the cheapest option for a general studies degree using TECEPs and the Per Credit Tuition Plan.

Thanks for the responses.

I came across the program whose information page I have linked to below:

Associate of Science Degree in Psychology - Ashcroft College
http://www.ashworthcollege.edu/associate-degrees/psychology

It looks like Aschcroft College is (nationally) accredited by the the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Anyone have any thoughts on completing such a program?

It's kind of a crap-chute as to whether or not the credits from this program would transfer. Many regionally accredited schools will not accept credits from another school that is not also regionally accredited. So it depends on whether or not the student wishes to transfer.

Also, this particular school does not accept financial aid. They do allow you to finance your degree through the school, but they will not allow you to graduate until you've paid off your debt.
