Plugs for the computer, free wifi, unlimited coffee refills and you can order from the phone app and they deliver to your table. Ate breakfast and lunch there without breaking stride.
This brings to mind so many things. During the late 1800s and early 1900s in Vienna, coffee houses used to be the gathering places of intellectual and artistic types. (Didn't I read that J.K. Rowling did most of her writing in a coffee shop, too?) When I was a court clerk, I cannot recall the number of times that detectives took the stand and said how inmates confessed after being taken to a McDonalds for a Big Mac.
Maybe we should send all of the world's leaders to a coffee shop (or McDonalds) and see if they can solve the world's problems.

That is the beauty of competency degrees, the cost and amount of time finishing a degree is cheaper and faster.
A member finished their MBA Finance at Patten for 2 grand, and in 3.5 months, I was so impressed.
Another member completed their WGU MBA in 3 months, that was about 3 grand. It depends on know how.
I'm still looking for reviews on Hodges as their program have intrigued me the most, $3 grand/6 month term.

I so wanted to do a more "well-known" MBA, but that timeframe/cost is super attractive. Man, I'm so confused which way to go.

I think the concern about a well known program vs a competency based model depends on all the inputs. At my age I'm halfway through my working years. Faster is better because I only have so long to maximize the ROI of obtaining the degree. I also have almost 2 decades of operational experience to pair with the MBA.
If I were younger with less experience and had more time to make enough money to justify a higher priced program (especially those with an overseas cohort component), my decision would probably be different.

Got my first "needs revision" on my Marketing project. Knew global marketing was my weak spot. At least it's just 2 areas - but it means logging more research time in addition to rewriting those sections.

it really is an insanely fast rate you're doing this. I can't imagine these are short papers you're writing, either. What's the average page length of the papers you're doing? i'd probably have pulled out all of my hair already.
