Thank you Al2010x!
Submitted my second paper today for my first WGU MBA course, please oh gods and goddesses of academia smile on me and pass that paper on the first submission!
Took the pre assessment for Global Economics and only missed a pass by 4 questions. Not too shabby for hittin' it cold.

Second paper came back as Meets Requirements! I am officially done with my first course at WGU.
Now I'm writing out a study schedule for the next week for Global Economics. This class is a challenge exam only. Let's hope all those CLEPs DSSTs and TECEPs honed my test taking skills.
The pre-assessment gives me a coaching report and I'm using it the same way I used the test descriptions for the ones I took for my bachelors. Writing in which days I'll be studying what topics and which chapters are associated with them.
I can get all the material on my phone so maybe I can get my studying in I plan on tomorrow in the car on the way back and forth to a family function.

Passed Global Economics last night!
My mentor suggested if I pass the economics exam to immediately try the Managing Human Capital pre-assessment. Since I managed people for so many years she felt I could pass it right away. She was right! Since I passed the pre-assessment right away I scheduled the actual assessment exam for 11PM last night and killed it.
So I finished 2 graduate level courses last night!
And Amazon told me what area I'll be managing and which shift. I'm AM Area Manager for AFE. Yay! Day shift! in my favorite area of the fulfillment center.
Guess this all makes up for the $800 unplanned fuel pump repair to my car this week.
A note about Global Economics - the pre-assessment and actual assessment exam had 55-60% of the same topics. The remaining 45-40% were topics on the final assessment that were not on the pre-assessment. I used the pre-assessment coaching report as a study guide and was not prepared for this. Cut score for pass is 65% so I had to squeeze every last drop of econ info from my poor old brain to pass.

I've been looking at WGU for an MBA, but in IT Management. I'm amazed that you can complete courses so quickly, and that really is what attracts me to the program. It seems you are liking it so far. How do you like working with a mentor? Is it helpful or kind of annoying? I've never heard of that before.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Sube - mentor is fine. Once a week phone calls that give me great info. Her recommendation about taking that test right away came on email so that was easy. Only pain is the mentor has to unlock the courses and it takes about half a day for any updates to be live on my end. But my mentor unlocks 3 courses at a time so it's all good.
