[Ideas]

I didn't get to do even one Davar, and I feel bad about that. I feel pressured to fit them in whenever I can, but I don't want to risk failing either.

I have worked hard on the Diff Eq course, but today I think I will skip over a topic, instead of staying stuck. This course and some other things are making me feel slow or stupid.

I can't help that I want to get A's in the community college classes. It feels silly. But if I wanted to get B's, I feel like I wouldn't save much time. However, I realized that in one class, I can probably get an A without reading the textbook, which I have been spending hours on. I will learn much less if I skim the textbook, but I can get one of the marketing TECEPs done.

I am glad I'm doing those accelerated classes now. I think it's giving me some idea of how online Masters degree classes will go. Obviously, this is at an easier level, but I can see that I might need many hours per day of reading the textbooks. I feel it's hard to do more than about 60 pages in a day, if it's day after day, but I feel that that's not enough to do the accelerated Masters I could hopefully read the books, or half of them, before I enroll. It depends on the book and subject matter. Business texts could be easier for me.

I am feeling unmotivated for Diff Eq, but I need to get motivated because the midterm has to be finished in 7 days.

I just took my 5th Davar exam, and would like to take about 7 more this month. I would prefer to do each on a separate day, even though one of them will be kind of easy. I wish I would not be so tired out by the studying. I know some people can do much more studying in a day. Actually, I would like to take many more Davar exams, but I don't have time due to Diff Eq and the cc classes. I am also not trying to just barely pass. Maybe I should, but I really wanted credit for Int'l Management and Principles of Sales to save me money and time later. I didn't want to risk barely failing. Info Literacy may have been a waste of time. I could have done a different exam instead.

I finished my powerpoint for the Study.com course in Digital Marketing and got a decent grade.

I think I need to give up on Diff Eq I was expecting the midterm to allow us to use the course material, but it doesn't. In addition, two modules (10+11) were released this week, and I didn't expect that. I can't do those and the midterm, as I am still not fully caught up, since I started weeks late. Module 9 is basically twice the material of other modules.

I guess this means I can't get the ASNSM in Math Without spending at least $500 for a course.

Can't you still get 3 UL credits each for Linear & Nonlinear? I knew I couldn't complete Intro, but I MIGHT be able to do Linear (willing to gamble the $49 attempt), and very likely will be up to speed for at least Nonlinear.

How are you doing on the SM Tecep studies? I probably won't do much towards mine until July 1.

Well, I figure those would be harder, and this is one is already hard for me. But that is a good point.

It's not much of gamble, because you can pay the $49 very close to the end. For the Intro, I believe last day to pay is actually the same day of the deadline of the final. So, you can know if you passed, unless you wait until the very last minute to take the final.

I just wish that I could take Discrete Math or Linear Algebra affordably. Although I would be mad at myself for spending so much more than $49.

I have not worked on the SM TECEP either. I will wait until July if I keep doing Diff Eq. If I don't, I might read more of the book. But I feel that studying for and taking the Davar exams is great practice for the TECEP. Although I think the TECEP will require more knowledge overall.

Oh, and also someone said that Intro is a prerequisite, so I don't think you can start the others without passing the first. However, you could probably pass the first with 50% only. It's 70% to get the ACE credit, but 50% to consider it passed by EdX standards, apparently. Still I feel that 50% is hard without having a grasp of half the material.

I think that was me, and I was probably wrong, since I can't find that info any longer.

Same here. If it comes down to it, I'll just pay the higher fee for one course.

It may have been that way the other times the courses were offered, but there's nothing indicating Intro is linked to Linear or Nonlinear this time around. I am registered for all three, and they show up independently on the ACE registry. What math do you have appled towards your Math AOS now?

FWIW, in the description under the ACE registry it says "Methods of assessment include quizzes, examinations, and MATLAB with a minimum passing score of 70 percent."

I agree. I took Int'l Mgmt at Davar which I think has some crossover. Most of the business courses will have something relevant! I think I am going to skip Advanced Strategic Mgmt at Davar because of time. I am not sure. I am trying to do about 6 more, at least.
