Well, I am hoping I will be able to find a job. I am not picky about which job it is, I just need to provide for my son and preferably something that has health insurance benefits. I have a really good work history, so that might help. I have to stay with my company until the closing day in order to get my severance package, then the job hunt will begin in earnest! I am also hoping this degree will allow me to go to grad school. I am looking for a program in cultural studies/anthropology or the humanities, and I would consider Library Science as well. If anyone knows of a good, cheap program, shoot me a PM!

By the way, did you have any Areas of Focus?
And what was your Depth 1 and Depth 2?
(I'm just looking for ideas for when I finally start my BS Liberal Studies at Excelsior!)
Yes, the GRE fulfilled an Area of Focus in Psychology for me. I could have done a major in it, but I just didn't want to spend any more time or money for the last research and writing requirement. I was tired and I wanted to be done already! My second depth was in History, and a couple more lower level history exams would have had me an Area of Focus in that too, but you know, I was exhausted.
Thanks to everyone for all your support!

Allisa, I'm so happy for you, and want to wish you the best in your bright future with yourself and family. You really should be proud of yourself. Your children will appreciate and respect this accomplishment always. Hopefully, using it as an example for their educational & life pursuits.
It has been a pleasure to know you, and I wish you and your family all the best. Take care

Ok, first off - CONGRATULATIONS!!! What you have been able to achieve is incredible and you should take yourself out to dinner to celebrate. Somewhere where you are not ordering food in a clown's mouth and not driving while consuming said food (oh, yeah, wait -- that's most of MY dinners).
However, the thing that I am most impressed with is, not that you were able to do it (cause you seem like the kind of person who can just find a way to make things happen), but the timing of your tests. You did a fantastic job cramming in some difficult tests in a short period of time. You should write a book on how to efficiently study (while fending off a one-year-old) because I would buy it!
Alissa, congratulations on your achievement. I have to say that your story came at a great time for me. I really kind of needed to hear another success-story to get me moving again. Best wishes in your next step!
Kelly

Great job,
I am taking the here's to your health DSST next week and was hoping for a little intel into the test. I think I am pretty well prepared, but thought someone out there might remember something specific.
Thanks,
Robert
