Oh. I think a "Pass with at least B" is better than having a GPA of 3.0-3.3 though. In some ways. But in other ways, lack of GPA is pretty bad.

This is how it shows for your transcripts:

Your graduating GPA at WGU will be a 3.0. As I have been going through the process for my doctorate this is what I put and it has to date, not stopped me from getting into any school. GRE & MAT scores play a valued part as well for some schools that I have applied to but overall, WGU's 3.0 has been just fine.

Your image isn't working for me (probably my work's proxy), but technically you have no GPA at all with WGU (notice the final line from this grading system blurb on the back of the transcript). But You're right in as far as 3.0 is how most schools will translate this. Untitled.png (Size: 26.43 KB / Downloads: 15)

I always felt it read funny - No GPA but Passed (B or Greater) = 3.0 (that's my GPA then . Even though I know based on my written assignments and exam scores that my GPA (if calculated) would be considerably greater than 3.0 - when asked on applications, there is no other ethical option than 3.0 for GPA.

They give you scores on the assignments and exams, and then... don't bother to average them?

They give you "meets requirements" on papers or projects, or "competent" on exams that you've passed. There are work arounds where you can figure out your exact score on an exam (not on a projecT), but they're focused on competency (using a competency based education model and all).
It's a PASS/FAIL system. They're certainly not the only school to offer pass/fail, but it is a bit unique.

I would probably want to put 0.00 GPA instead of 3.00... 3 seems too low.
I guess this is a plus for Patten for me.

Decided to move to Asia for three years to be with family and will not have too much time to study/work.
I applied to Nations U for their BRS/MTS and will work on them while I wait for WGU Masters ACBSP Accreditation. I updated my signature to reflect my decision to "chill out" on my studies. I'll work on my IT/BIZ certs as well. Note: The BRS isn't really needed, just wanted to get it as well since it won't cost me anything extra but time.

Does anyone have the full list of requirements (Paper vs Exam) for each WGU course in the MBA? I'm wondering how many are only paper-based.

There are optional papers you can do along the way that will count towards your grade if you decide to do them, or you can opt out and do just the main paper/project and exam.
