After two years of bouncing from college to college and from degree to degree I am one week away from the final exam for my degree. Toward the end I started questioning my decision and spent a couple of weeks burning through spreadsheets like they were scrap paper, but I eventually submitted my application for graduation. I decided to receive my BSBA in Computer Information Systems from TESC and then work on the 20 additional graded credits necessary to get into the Fort Hays, Master of Science in Instructional Technology program. Thankfully I am able to knock out cheap credits through Colorado Mountain College because of my veteran status. While I am working on random credits through CMC I have decided to take a few undergraduate courses through FHSU and get the feel for it. If things work out like I hope, I will be able to get a reference letter from one of the professors at Fort Hays for my graduate application. I know there are programs that would accept me with my current transcript, but the price is right at FHSU and they have the degree I want. A few extra courses should help my writing skills. All of those multiple guess exams did little to improve my academic prose.

This is great news, Congratulations!!!! I think you made the best decision to complete your degree while continuing to plug away. We don't know what the future brings and I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. If completed in the same year, you could possibly circle back around and use the new credits for a second bachelors: BA NS/M or BA CS. (shrugs)
Welcome to the TESC alumni my friend! cheersmate:hurray:cheersmate
