I also think that it is wonderful she mentors other students that are at risk for failing. That is why the school has this program. They have students that are thriving take in students that are having a really hard time. It is a win/win situation for both students. She gets to impart her knowledge and the recipient gets one on one tutoring.

It is true what they say about the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Obviously, your daughter takes after you. Have a great Thanksgiving, you are greatly blessed with such a wonderful child.

Okay here is the latest on "My Amazing Girl". My daughter has chosen not to graduate this month because she wants to finish her research in the cancer lab and finish writing her thesis. She also has only 3 more classes to complete her genetics minor, she feels she needs to complete that. She will be doing her classes this fall. I have to stop and remember she is just 20 yrs old and has so much time and life ahead of her. She also has a wonderful apartment with 2 of her dear friends. So she needs to just do this. Her doctorate program has deferred her entry for her also. It all works out.
She also has decided she wants her pilot license. So she has just recently started taking flying lessons. She will be the third pilot in our family. First woman pilot in our family!!!
