I'm figuring that it's a good intro to what an MBA program looks like and I could maybe pick up some transferrable credit or come back later on. I agree that I don't really want to do it right now but.... Free....

I've been refreshing the offer like crazy, and as of now it's not available for the July 5 term.

I asked my admissions advisor and he said they are still waiting to hear. I can send you his info. He can get you set up if/when it goes live.

I don't know if they've ever ran this 1 term free promo with the MS in Pysch (not that I recall - I only see the $400/term up to $2000 discount)... but if they did, with my Georgia Tech masters now in the books, I might be stupid enough to give it a go at Walden. Even though I have absolutely no use for it.

Hey, I replied to your PM, but basically, I'm on the fence about doing an MBA right now. If Walden is doing a free term I feel I'd be stupid not to do it, but if they don't have the offer again I'm not going to be put out about it.

I don't think I was very clear, but basically you will know which modules align with which courses. So, even though it's Tempo, you will still want to aim for completing all the modules for two courses worth per term otherwise it's not as cost efficient as some other options.
Also, I would say to jump on the offer next time they offer it. Or, call the school and see if the billing department will offer you a special deal for your first term free. I think the last time Walden offered the first term free for the MBA program was in December of 2018.

I wonder if Walden will ever offer a free term for any of the other programs besides the MBA? I see they are currently offering a $3000 discount but when it read the terms it states it would be spread across 6 terms at $500 each term.

They were offering it for Nursing programs not too long ago, and a while back they were doing it for Psych programs. Maybe others?
No idea what they'll do going forward.
