I'm familiar with the 2 credits to 3 and I am sure there is some LL back to UL (I am not aware of any but there has to be some?). By the numbers, I am just saying, we actually have better odds to have a new source pop up with them. I still stand by the position that I would appreciate us scoring several optional wins next year!

YES!! They have had a BUNCH of courses re-evaluated and upgraded on ACE. So, TESU was counting them as UL, even though ACE considered them LL. But now, they are actually UL through ACE:
ACC 301: Applied Managerial Accounting
ACC 302: Advanced Accounting
BUS 302: Foundations of Leadership
BUS 305: Leadership Communication
BUS 306: Strategic Human Resources Management
BUS 307: Leadership and Organizational Behavior
BUS 308: Globalization and International Management
BUS 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising
BUS 310: Advanced Business Ethics
BUS 311: Project Management
BUS 312: Advanced Operations Management
BUS 314: Employment Law
BUS 315: Logistics and Supply Chain Management
BUS 323: Organizational Theory
HOSP 304: Hotel & Lodging Management & Operations (TESU says it's LL, but it was upgraded on 10/1)
NURS 301: Nursing Informatics
I consider these a definite win, and think they'll be doing this to more courses when they can (esp. Psych).

side note: anyone notice the ACE transcript website is down? I was going to look and see what SDC courses I had finished so that I could have them sent to TESU, but no dice.
They have no control, so they probably thought it. BUT, there is still SHRM available, and it's UL. Still plenty of reasons to join in my opinion.
Re: ACE - I didn't have a problem, it's working just fine for me.

assuming TESU is doing this to align better with ACE recs.
Since they just updated with 14 courses and got them switched to UL, plus upgraded 4 courses from 2cr to 3cr, you are right!
I'm not sure what people are complaining about, since we knew this was going to happen for months (Study.com was very clear about courses being downgraded on 1/1) and they are working hard to upgrade courses. I'm not sure what more they can do to make people happy?

These are business courses and I have already had a super entertaining talk about their value but the courses in question are non-business and we don't have examples of wins anywhere near this level. Study.com is a great provider and I am sure they will do what they can to get some more wins for us.

Yes, there are a lot of business courses here, but I'm guessing that's based on demand.
A lot of the courses that were downgraded by TESU were never intended to be UL courses by Study.com in the first place (as you can see by their own numbering system, and with the course setup with additional papers/projects required of UL courses). So to complain that more of their history or Psych courses were downgraded by TESU, is kind of strange. You should be upset with TESU that they were giving them UL credit in the first place I guess, and now are disappointed that they are going along with ACE. Or I guess you could be mad at ACE that they didn't give UL credit to courses that weren't trying to be UL in the first place? I'm not even sure where to begin with this.
I still don't see why complaining that Study.com is in any way at fault here makes any sense at all. They didn't do anything wrong. PSY106 (for example) was always meant to be LL, they set it up that way from the beginning (100-level numbering, no paper or additional projects needed). TESU will stop bringing it in as UL tomorrow. That is entirely on TESU, nothing to do with Study.com in any way imaginable.

Not sure what you are referring to. No one was complaining about Study.com. My initial post:

We all know the process is not that easy but would be nice to have some surprise course wins next year.
Every post thereafter was in discussion with who will provide UL courses faster; Study.com LL upgrades to UL or New/Other providers.
Perhaps it read differently for you.

We wanted to let you know that we've recently updated the Thomas Edison State University transfer guide on our website. You can access it here: https://study.com/directory/school/Thoma...ransferTab
Please note that many of our newly recommended courses are still being reviewed by TESU, so equivalencies have not yet been determined for them. As always, please reach out to us (support@study.com) if you have any questions or comments.
Happy 2018, everyone!

This list is missing the class English 301: Short Stories. Does that course transfer to TESU? As an upper level class?

I found many examples of short story courses at universities that are UL but have been told it’s likeky to come in as LL. I’m going to take it for sure and see what happens. I need the credit either way.

I want to take this course, even if just LL, because it seems most relevant to my work (as a teacher, the subjects appearing in this course appear a lot in my textbooks). But I'm concerned no credit is even earned at all, because it isn't listed in the course equivalencies table. I don't want to put in the time and money to the class if it doesn't even transfer to TESU.

It's brand new, so hasn't yet been evaluated. Since it's LL through ACE, it will probably be LL at TESU as well. BUT, since it's a 300-level course from Study.com, that means that they designed it as UL, and it just didn't make the cut. Which means that they could revamp it and then re-submit it to ACE at a later date (they've done this recently with a lot of courses), and it could get changed to UL.
I would think about waiting a bit and taking it later, to give it a chance for UL. If you have time to do so.
