I plan on asking once my evaluation goes through.
Speaking of which, does the time to evaluate start from the last transcript received or the first one? I have 6 items that were received between 7/12 and 7/29. With their current ~25 day evaluation time, when should I expect to see that come through?

I just called and got my own answer: the time starts tolling from the day of acceptance. So I should have an evaluation by the 19th.

After a month of compulsively hitting the Academic Evaluation, I've started to get results. My colleges have been evaluated, I just need my alternative credits to be entered. It's looking like I'll be just over halfway to a BSBA.
EDIT since I don't want to make a quadruple post: I'm actually looking at alternate degrees and I may be really close to a BSAST in Technical Studies (Engineering and/or Computers), and most of the remainder can be gotten on the way to a BSBA. Does anyone have any experience with testing out of Project Management (MAN-435) and/or Current Trends & Applications (APS-401)?

Project Management can be taken online through Sophia.org for $329.
Current Trends & Applications is the Capstone for the BSAST, and can only be taken through TESU as a course ($1500).
The BSAST is harder to complete unless you've taken a bunch of courses somewhere else, because a lot of the UL courses you need can't be tested out of or found cheaply.
I would not plan on getting the BSAST and BSBA simultaneously. They are not from the same college (College of Business vs. the College of whatever the BSAST is in), so you can't do a dual degree for them. Which means that you have to finish one of the degrees, then go back AFTER the degree has been CONFERRED (not after you finish the credits needed, nor after you get notified that you earned the degree, but after you actually get it conferred) and earn 24cr in the Core/AOS for the 2nd degree program.
So, lets say you have at least 22cr completed in the BSAST AOS, and you only need 23cr. At that point, if you earned any more credits, you might have a difficult time finding 24cr to fulfill the rest of the degree (or at least inexpensively). You might have to spend a few thousand dollars taking more courses to get to that 24cr you need.
On the other hand, if you decide to get the BSAST first, then you won't want to take most of the AOS/Core business courses until after your BSAST is conferred. Which is probably the better order to do things in, since the BSBA is easier to complete inexpensively than the BSAST.
If I were you, before making this decision, I would contact TESU and speak to someone there about getting the 2nd degree and make sure that what I've told you is correct, and determine which one you should do first.

See my program evaluation for BSAST in Applied Technology. As far as I can tell, the only courses I would need that wouldn't be also needed for the BSBA are a 1 credit engineering course, technical writing, and the two courses I mentioned earlier. (I still have AP tests and my CPIM evaluation pending).
Additionally, since I'm a NJ resident, It's only $1200 per course for me. It might be worth it trying to get residency at TESU by taking four courses: those two, plus two of the Ops. Mgmt. courses I need.... Nevermind, just saw that residency is 16 credits, so ~$6100. I'll have to think about this some more.

... I don't think it works like that. There are two ways to get "two degrees" from TESU. The first is one degree like a BA but in two areas of study. That doesn't apply to you since one degree is a BSBA and other a BSAST. You want to get two different degrees. This article runs down the details: The Secret to Earning a Second Degree | Thomas Edison State University
The jist of it is that you need a minimum of 24 brand new credits earned AFTER the first degree is conferred. They won't hand you a second degree by just by taking a couple of extra courses. Even if this were the two area of study scenario, they would only let you reuse 9 cr from the first AOS in the second AOS, so you'd have more than a couple of courses to take.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

Completely understand. This is my current plan:
Finish Gen Ed. requirements for BSAST, finish Project Management, finish Capstone (Trends & Current Applications). Take a CC engineering course if necessary. Apply for graduation with residency waiver. Get degree.
Start up again with all the BSBA core classes, which will give me more than 24 new credits. Apply for graduation, get second degree.
I think which way I go will depend on if I have to pay one or two residency waivers.

I think that if you pay the residency fee for the BSAST and then finish the BSBA courses within a year, you're good. The residency fee lasts for at least a year, although there has been conflicting info on that - it may be forever.
Anyway, I would definitely get the BSAST first if you can do that, since it would be darn near impossible to find 8 new inexpensive courses to take after the BSBA to get that BSAST.

If that's the case, I'll definitely be getting the BSAST. For less than $2k, there's almost no reason not to.. I plan to speak with a counselor once everything's finished being evaluated, I'm going to ask them to re-evaluate one of my transfer courses, because it's duplicating right now. If they do that, I'll definitely have the AOS for the BSAST done, and just need Gen Ed and the cores.

I have an open ticket with the bursar about that. I'll report back in with whatever they say.
