Hey! I see they have a min GPA now of 1.75 for entry.
My credits are from all over - Community College, Sophia, CLEP etc. How do they determine this? They say you have to talk to a counselor etc but how is a GPA determined if your credits are from different sources - or should i not really focus on this. IF they have you talk to the counselor is that just to see what your motivations are?

What is the GPA of your CC courses? As long as you don't have a bunch of Fs, I wouldn't worry about this.

If they need to calculate an overall GPA, I'm 99.999% sure they're only going to look at your college credits. Not CLEP/ACE/etc.

ACE credits would be considered at least 2.0 by most schools, I think. Pass percentage is usually 70% or a "C". Schools that really, really care will want to see your exact score. UMPI is not one of these.

UMPI isn't really competitive as they're a small public/state university, even though they're part of a larger system. You're fine, unless you're really having issues with their first session of courses and failing due to some commitments or circumstances in your life.

*Students with lower than a 1.75 GPA are required to interview with a YourPace Admissions representative.
That doesn't mean you can't get in. It just means you have to do an interview. They should let you in if you have proven yourself by getting C's, B's, and A's recently on ACE courses.
