Hey guys, I'm wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives to getting these RA credits.
I need these 5 courses to get into the program I want to. They have to be letter-graded.
Cost Accounting
Principles of Finance
Micro or Macroeconomics
Principles of Accounting I
Principles of Accounting II
I'm thinking I'll do these three at UMPI
- Cost Accounting
- Introduction to Financial Accounting (In place of Principles of Finance)
- Micro and Macro economics
=$1500 term
I'll do Principles of Accounting I and II at BYU
= $717 x 2 = $1434
Total = $2934
Is there a cheaper way to get these credits? I'd like to finish by April ideally. May is too late.

Introduction to Financial Accounting and Principles of Accounting I are the same class.
UMPI offers all of these courses. ECO207 is only 3 credits so if you need 6 credits for micro and macro, you won't get it from UMPI. Realistically, you could do all of these in 1 term at UMPI. Also check to see if BYU has any fees. UMPI doesn't. UMPI also doesn't require textbooks. At UMPI, you'll have the help of a professor and your fellow students on Discord. I don't know if you get that kind of help at BYU.

No need to post the same thread multiple times.

@frogdozer, I merged your threads, which grad program or Masters are you looking at? Just wondering, wouldn't it be better to get everything at UMPI for $1500/session if you can finish them in time... at most it'll cost you two sessions if they offer those classes. Another option is a mix and match of UMPI and the local community college if they offer online classes, if not, you can check the WIKI for colleges we recommend that may have these classes.

UMPI doesn't have Principles of Accounting I and II if I'm not mistaken. So I'm looking for somewhere to take them.
can't go to a community college cause I'm not a resident anywhere in the US. This is for Touro University Graduate School of Business which is associated with Touro Worldwide that is known for accepting some ACE

UMPI has both Principles of Accounting I and II?
If Introduction to Financial Accounting is Principles of Accounting then what class fulfills Principals of Finance?

The NM CCs offer low tuition for out-of-state and international students (online). CCs aren't generally limited to just those who live in-state (or the US).

That's right, taking online courses through any community college we recommend, or if you want a flat rate CBE option, that would work as well... these institutions we recommend are for both domestic and international students. You don't really have to be a resident as everything is online using whatever medium or platform the institutions have for their classes...
