The 3 TEEX Cyber security classes got another ACE renewal!

I just noticed today that the TEEX cyber classes have been once again renewed through 1/31/2019. Good news for us who still need them.

I was going to use these to add the ASNSM-CS on to my BSBA. My current understanding is that only CIS/COS count toward the AOS and that only the cyber security for IT professionals(CIS-244) would come in as one of these. I see you have the degree, could you verify/clarify this for me?

This is what I've read on the forum:

CYB-120 - Introduction to Cybersecurity  (Cyber Security for Business Professionals)


CIS-244 - Computer Security (Cyber Security for IT Professionals)

CAP-295 - Intro to Security Basics (Cyber Security for Everyone)

I have the ASNSM CS in my eval right now and have two CAP courses in the AOS. I have CAP 295 in there as well as a CAP 105 I did at my B&M college.

     That's great news! The AS must be more lenient than the BA. I guess it's going to be a TEEX weekend for me. Thanks!

Hopefully they get a full renewal soon, theses temporary stop-gap renewals are stressful.
