Masters Program after testing out of the majority of undergrad courses (LSUS?)
#1
I'm down to my last 3 courses for my BSBA at COSC, including the Capstone. After looking at several grad schools, I am intrigued by Louisiana State, Shreveport (LSUS) and a couple of Cal State's (local schools). Has anyone here had any luck getting accepted into an AACSB accredited MBA or MHA program after completing the majority of their degree by testing out? Any LSUS students or graduates?

Some schools require at least 60 graded credits. I think I had a little over 60 in my BS due to testing out and credential evaluation. Missouri State is AACSB accredited and I was admitted into the college of business and could have taken either MSPM or MBA. I chose MSPM.

LSUS mentions 60 credits by saying you must have a certain GPA in your last 60 graded credits but it is not clear if it is mandatory to have 60 graded credits as a prerequisite to being accepted into the program.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

It also depends on the rest of your application. I was accepted into an aacsb school, but I also have a good job and am a veteran which strengthened my app. each master's program has recruiting staff that can usually answer your questions, they also can help with advice to strengthen your app. contact your school of choice and speak with a rep and ask them directly.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
