It looks like they'll be seeking CACREP accreditation.

I knew that had to be their next step after offering a psych degree. I wonder if it'll be able to be accelerated even just a little. Most programs are at least 2+ years

Apparently, their main focus remains Business, Education, Health, IT, and they're essentially expanding within each of those four areas... I'm still curious and wondering if they'll go into different areas or fields anytime soon, my guess is that they'll still continue to expand until another area or school within the institution is created...

I think the only areas they don't cover are the liberal arts. Math, English, and science are only offered within their education programs. WGU says its mission is to offer degrees that lead to jobs, so I don't expect them to venture into stuff like fine arts. At most, they might offer graphic design just like they offer communications instead of English literature or linguistics. They probably only created the psychology degree to prep students for a license-eligible master's degree.
Oh, they don't have an engineering degree program. I'm not counting network or software engineering. I mean engineering degrees that require statics and all that. I can see WGU expanding to engineering.
