Going to be taking the Managerial accounting exam pretty soon, just asking if anyone can provide any help/tips for the exam?
Also does anyone know if the exam has a calculator on it like the clep financial accounting or am I allowed to bring one in?

The companion site has good narrated slides and practice tests that complement, if not replace, the textbook for studying. I only used the textbook for reference. Also, the official practice tests are very good prep for the actual exam. I believe a calculator was provided. I did not bring one. The only time I did that was for DSST Finance.

Do you have a link to the companion site?
Thanks

Took this a while ago, I used Management Accounting Demystified, the exam has a built in calculator. Actually easier then I thought it was going to be. I guess once you get your mind set through Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting starts falling into place. There's some Financial Accounting items on the test, I would say somewhere between 4-6 questions worth of Financial Accounting, do Financial Accounting first, I know I said it was easier then I thought it was going to be, but I would had been confused and lost without the mind set that Financial Accounting gave me. Also I recommend doing Finance after both of these courses. All 3 courses crossover.
