Calling half the country garbage or Nazis wasn't a pro strategy lol...

I know many people who stayed quiet, didn't waive flags or signs and voted Trump. Harris was the safe "default" choice no one really wanted.

LOL. Trump and his surrogates have insulted every group, except for non-Jewish White men who vote Republican. Trump lost Black people, women (all races combined), Jewish people, Asians, Latina women, and college-educated White people. If it weren't for non-college-educated White people, he would have had no chance. Once White people become a plurality instead of a majority, a candidate like Trump will have no chance at winning.

Lol sure, except the data on this election says otherwise.  Trump pulled more with almost every single group vs previous elections. Keep doing what you are doing, it's obviously working out.

Hopes and dreams right?

When I say "lost," I mean that he didn't get the majority of votes among those groups. So, the data does support what I said.

Americans have short memories. There's a reason why he lost so badly in 2020, and he had low approval ratings throughout his first term. His approval rating never got above 49%, and his average was 41%. I don't have to do anything. He'll lose support on his own.
So this is what we call, copium.

It's what we call facts. So far, ever since Gallup started polling for job approval ratings, Trump has had the lowest average approval rating and the lowest high approval rating. We'll see if he can poll better during his second term.

Yes,  he was so bad that the Democrats got wrecked and routed in every way possible. He just pulled a Grover Cleveland and cemented himself forever in US (and world) political history. The GOP has cemented SCOTUS for decades, taken the Senete and will likely take the House.

Kamala was so unlikeable, yet she was astroturfed as the second coming of Christ for months. This end result was expected.

But yes lets focus on BS "polls" that mean literally nothing as we just saw.. Are we going to focus on polls now? After what we saw on Tuesday? LOL

Time to look inward at why the Democrats are completely inept in every way possible.

Are we going to ignore the fact that Trump lost to a man who was showing signs of dementia in 2020? Yeah, he pulled a Grover Cleveland because he lost. Most two-term presidents win back-to-back. Incumbents have the advantage, and he still lost.

I'm not a Democrat. You're on a forum for non-traditional education, but you're always putting down non-traditional education. That doesn't sound sane to me. There are traditional education forums and sub-reddits for you to go to. You also have a weird obsession with how other people spend their money on degrees.

This is common sense. A popular president would win back-to-back. Popular presidents don't lose. Trump came back and won against a non-incumbent. Now, I'm wondering if Biden would have beat him again.

Now the nonsensical deviation and wheel spinning begin because you are objectively wrong. I dunno man, why don't you look at the POLLS (your favorite thing ) of Biden V Trump before he dropped out? Let me know what you find  Big Grin

But, the polls aren't always right. Isn't that what you implied? Plus, polls change throughout campaigning. Sheesh! Most of those polls were within the margin of error, and Trump was running against someone with dementia who couldn't articulate his thoughts during a debate.

It's totally highly intelligent to expect a popular president to lose his reelection bid by 7 million votes.

Ah, yes. Rush Limbaugh, the guy who called Obama "Barack, the Magic Negro;" called 13-year-old Chelsea Clinton the "White House Dog;" and called a birth control activist a slut and prostitute. He was such a loving human being.

Thank you! You have given me much to ponder. Particularly, Thank you particularly for the mention of Sandra Fluke. Rush Limbaugh recognized error in what he said. He publicly apologized. Thank you all! I also got a lot to ponder about. I remember a time when people just voted for whom they thought was the best candidate. In Yahoo News comments, I mentioned that in California if you say you support Trump, you'll get fired. Someone replied to me that in a red state it is the other way around. That was rather an eye-opening reply, because it made me realize we're two separate Americas. Like overlay area codes. Living in the same space, but two different countries. It wasn't that way before.

That isn’t happening. Nobody is getting fired for their political views. People get fired for being jerks who then say it is political persecution, but it isn’t happening.
