MSCS options

Your Location: Ireland, although I'm a US citizen (and not an Irish citizen, so no subsidized education)
Your Age: 29
What kind of degree do you want?: I'd far prefer a masters in computer science. I would consider an MSIT or MS in applied computer science. I'd like to avoid any business/management/leadership programs. I want to keep options open for a phd in the future. I can't see myself going that route but life changes and I'd like the option, so an MSCS is the best route, I think.

Budget: I have $20k in savings but my work will reimburse $5250/year and I'd prefer to use their money. Fast is the priority, followed by cheap, followed by easy.
Commitments: My pets and job
Dedicated time to study: I can study at least 20 hours a week during busy weeks and likely closer to 30 between sprints.

I completed a TESU BALS in natural sciences degree and the ASNSM in computer science a handful of years ago. I now work as a software engineer and would get a promotion if I earn a masters. I got the BA because I got a promotion just for having any degree but I know many programs require a CS undergrad. I do have calculus and 24 credits in CS. I could go back to complete the BACS at TESU, if necessary.

I'd really like to complete the masters in two years or less.

I saw GTech's mooc program, which is super cheap but many people are saying that it'll take much longer than two years to complete.

I saw a handful of UK programs which claim the masters can be completed in a year.

I'd like to keep the cost to $10k, or so, so my tuition reimbursement will cover it.

I've seen lots of options mentioned on the forum but I can't decide which one makes the most sense.

Any helps/ideas are much appreciated.

There are other options you should investigate, such as the one from U of Texas - Austin which is priced very similar to Georgia Tech and also ranked the same too!  Anyways, I noticed you're a new member and the Degree Planning Advice template hasn't been used.  It would be highly beneficial to provide more details as it will provide us more info to either recommend CBE, MOOC, or a traditional approach.  Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Your Age: 24 Many schools don't accept people under 20.
What kind of degree do you want?: Any Do you want Computer Science? Business, etc? If you're open to suggestions, tell us your career goals.

Budget: I have a max of $10K saved up.  I'd like to go the cheapest route possible, but will consider spending more for easy and fast.  
Commitments: Honestly, just kids/spouse and my pets. I currently work full time and can work on my studies part time or in the evenings/weekends.
Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is free. I estimate at least 3 hours every week night and on the weekends, maybe 6 hours, total would be roughly 15+12=27 hours or slightly more.

Update: In addition to the basic template above... It may be a good idea to expand the information you provide us to include the following, this will provide some insight into your particular situation.  We can either recommend the alternative test-out options COSC, EC (soon to be EU), TESU or competency based education providers such as PUG, UMG (UMASS Global - formerly Brandman), UMPI, WGU or another institution.

Please provide any relevant details you may have that may help us determine a option or path for you to investigate, such as your preference towards either test-out (you're a great test taker) or competency based education (because you like assessments, assignments and have test anxiety).  What other details you provide us can help determine your course of action suited for your educational journey...

Another thing to keep in mind is traditional semester based programs will require 2 courses per semester plus a couple of summer/ winter  sessions ( which are usually crammed into 5-6 weeks ) to complete in 2 years. Not to mention being very aware and planning accordingly for course rotation. 

This is one big reason why I’m looking into campbellsville and eku. You can take one course at a time every 8 weeks and be done in less than 2 years or take 2 every 8 weeks and be done in a year. I’m sure that there are several other 8 week format programs as well, But most will cost more than $10k

Eku's program looks good. I'd pay more to get finished faster.

I'm not terribly fond of religious schools but don't want to knock them if they're good options for others.
