Hi, does anyone know of any doctoral completion programs for business online. I originally went to Northcentral University and was in the PhD program for I-O psychology. I was unable to complete my dissertation and they transferred to National University. I signed up for the DBA-ABD program at Baker College and now they are having some problems with the Department of Education and could possibly lose their accreditation. Are there any other degree completion programs out there that are not in education? Thank You!

@Heartstrings, Welcome to the board, there are several options, but without knowing your budget, commitments, study habits, etc, it's going to be a bit hard to provide you any recommendations. You're in a similar situation with one of our members, same thing with Baker College... The main thing I want to know is what credits you have... Please fill in most of the info within the template and addendum here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Your Location: Texas, United States. We need to know this as some schools have great in-state discounts, or others don't accept international students.
Your age: 40s
What kind of degree do you want?: I am looking for a doctoral program in business that is a dissertation completion program that is not National University or Baker College and can be completed 100% online and is not an education degree
Current Regional Accredited Credits: I am looking for a university in the United States that is regionally accredited and possibly has some sort of business accreditation
DegreeForum University Total Credits: I have a lpt of education to list all my credits. I have BA in Psychology, MA in Psychology, currently working on an MA in Human Resources Management, Graduate Certificate in Neuroleadership, Post Master's Certificate in I-O Psychology, and currently PhD-candidate-ABD in I-O Psychology
Any certifications or military experience? none
Budget: I do not want to spend a lot of money. Just looking for a dissertation completion program. Not comfortable posting finances
Commitments: no kids, spouse, semi-retired
Dedicated time to study: I have 7 days a week. Not looking to go to any in-person residency
Time to Completion: No concern
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: N/A

<gasp> Nice cut and paste! You've got credits from DegreeForum University?! Great stuff, it's a bit better with a tad more details than the previous post, but missing really important info to help you... Recap: Is there no way of completing the program a National University since they're technically the same degree but merged with their parent university? Did you ask them to see what they say about what the requirements are for finishing? I would search the board and sister board for reviews of any ABD programs that have been mentioned...
Actually, the main thing I wanted to know really wasn't the credits, since we don't know if it will transfer or not, it's the tuition amounts you can afford or not. Without having a range, it's like saying I want a coffee, but it can't be too cheap or too expensive. Your ABD programs are plentiful, you just need to find the one or two you really like and have a backup third option. Here's an example, the cost is virtually identical to when I posted 3 years ago: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ars-18-650

I have already talked to National University. They drag their dissertation out. The cost to complete the dissertation alone for me and where I am at would be $45,000. That does not include the cost of 45 credits worth of classes I already completed. It is a very expensive school. I could virtually start over somewhere else for the price of the dissertation only. Right now I am weighing if I would be okay with all but dissertation status. I have taught college before and I am not sure if it is something I want to do. I guess it would be for personal fulfillment. Thanks for responding.
