However, irrespective of institution or how it's perceived, I feel having an MBA in one's (my) repertoire, in the current state of employ, certainly wouldn't hurt matters.
You don't think being able to claim an MBA (I know some here would contest this statement) would be beneficial to one's current or future position within an organization, vs not being able to claim an MBA?
In the case of ENEB… no. It’s really not a true MBA. I know a lot of people will disagree because they did all sorts of additional leg work to find an in-road somewhere. It’s not impossible to find that little odd use. But as someone who signed up, tried it, then enrolled in an actual MBA program… it’s really not the same.
I have always been one to dig in to things that I am not familiar with. If I were in a position to evaluate a person’s MBA (for hiring , promotion, etc.), I can assure you that I would have looked up this ENEB/Isabel thing and I would have found the Groupon offers. I would have found this forum with the debates. It would give me negative vibes and it would give you the opposite of street cred, (is there a term for that?). I have done exactly this type of search when an Accounting Manager seemed to be clueless about certain things and found that her online school was closed down for some sketchy stuff. It definitely impacted my view of her in a negative way.
You will get much more mileage finishing that Bachelor’s degree and then moving on to an RA Masters, if you want one. Don’t waste time and money on a lark.
