I know that WGU redesigned its MBA program a couple of years ago. Does anyone know which competency-based program requires less writing? JFK bought Patten's program, so it would be nice to hear from those who were in it.

You may already know about Patten's program and how much writing it had. If not, see https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...n-4-months

Thanks, but the person who finished the MBA program didn't say how many pages the projects were unless I overlooked it.

Might have gotten them confused with other posters.
This seems to say three 3 page papers per course: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...MBA-Review

And, those are in addition to the project. Hmmm. The program at JFK might be just as bad or worse than WGU unless they changed the requirements.
I filled out a form at the JFK website, and they called me from a local number in one minute! The representative wasn't pushy, though. You can pay monthly or pay by 24-week term. The cost is $4,250 per term. I think everyone knows that, unlike Patten, JFK participates in Title IV financial aid.
Each class requires a mid-term, final, and project. Instructors determine what the project is going to be. Students are required to complete four courses per term. Once a week, you have to complete something meaningful i.e. complete an assessment or turn in a project. There are no discussion board posts. JFK has the same instructors and advisors from Patten.

Sounds like JFKu has made considerable changes to the old Pattern structure, however.

Hm. So does that mean in some classes it's midterm & final exams instead and only one written paper/project? Or do most still have the Patten format with 3+ written assignments?
