Principles of Management
#1
Hello,

I just got done taking the principles of management CLEP. The information provided by this website only covers a small portion of the test. I highly recommend that you seek other sources of information when preparing for this CLEP. I will be seeking a refund as this site failed to prepare me for the exam.

Pato - please see my comments under the Post a Review thread. I hate to say it, but many, many users here (including some teenagers) had no problem passing this with IC alone or IC plus a couple of other resources.

I'm sorry that you're frustrated about not passing. I have failed a CLEP before (macroecon) when I failed to take the time to do my research and study on the test. It does really feel bad to miss the credits that you wanted to get from the test, but let's face it. You didn't study enough. Man up and admit it.

When I failed Macroecon, I got overconfident and thought it was going to be an easy test. I didn't memorize all of the IC cards and I just barely skimmed the specific feedback forum. Did you even go to the specific feedback forum? Did you google topics that came up in the IC cards that you didn't understand? Did you post questions to the large community of users here that would have been more than happy to help if you weren't understanding something? Um.. based on the two posts that you currently have, my guess would be no.

Sorry that you're angry and if IC doesn't suit your learning style, that's ok. No one study method will work for everyone, but the track record is pretty good if you see the comments in the specific feedback forum. It is hard to see someone come to an interactive community where we all work together to help with study and degree plans and have someone who has not ever taken part in this to come and complain about "IC not working."

Pato19, Principles of Management was for me one of the easiest CLEPs. I understand that everyone is different, but I have to say that when I took it, I had not yet signed up for IC and only used the 3 Peterson's practice tests and I passed. So far, I have taken 23 tests and failed 1. That fail hurt my pride like you wouldn't believe, but I didn't blame IC for failure to prepare me. I say try again with a different subject and see what happens. Good luck.

That is why you should read the specific exam feedback!

Everybody has different learning curves. Don't always put your eggs into one basket. By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.
The usual reason why we fail is because we haven't studied enoughWink
