Research topic LA498

I have begun the capstone over at Excelsior and I am required to make a research proposal on a topic. 
For the life of me, I am having an awful time trying to come up with a contemporary global issue involving Administrative/Management studies or History. If anybody would be willing to give me a few ideas to jump from Id be forever in your debt.

How about researching the how and why's, of why employees stayed with one employer for 20, 30 years as opposed to frequent job changes that is more prevalent over the past 10-15 years. Maybe in some way that can tie into the management aspect ?

I completed LA498 this past May. I feel your pain lol
