I have Eng Comp I, but I'm curious how this Eng 114 will transcribe at Thomas Edison. Anybody with experience on this?

Without knowing your school or even the name of the course beyond your school's course code for it, it's going to be pretty hard to speculate. "Eng 114" could be many different courses at many different schools.
Even knowing the course name and school, it will be hard to determine how TESU will transcribe it exactly.

Name of the course is in the subject line; Professional Research and Reporting
Looking the TESU catalog, looks like it should fall under Technical Writing.

You expect me to read a whole subject line?? :p (sorry about that)
It could fall under Technical Writing, though I wouldn't be surprised to see it fall under ENG-299: Special Topics in English, which is just their catchall English course code when they don't feel one of their other courses is a better match.

This is the course description from Eng 114. Seems very similar to TESUs tech writing description
ENG 114. Professional Research & Reporting. 3.0 Credits. Class-3.0. Clinical-0.0. Lab-0.0. Work-0.0
This course, the second in a series of two, is designed to teach professional communication skills. Emphasis is placed on research, listening, critical reading and thinking, analysis, interpretation, and design used in oral and written presentations. Upon completion, students should be able to work individually and collaboratively to produce well-designed business and professional written and oral presentations.
No worries on missing that pesky subject line

Seems like a good match. If you're trying to specifically meet a Technical Writing requirement at TESU with that class, even if they still transfer it in a ENG-299, I don't think you'd have a hard time getting it approved after forwarding the syllabus to an advisor. I did a similar thing with my ENG-299 course in order to have it meet the Info Literacy requirement.

This will be your English II just like at your B&M unless you have some other course that fulfills that requirement. If that becomes the case, this course may be considered a duplicate. If you need Tech Writing, just take the very easy, no essay required, DSST or TECEP.

I would definitely check with TESU on that, I'd be surprised if they let you substitute what seems to be the equivalent of Technical Writing for English Composition II. I'm assuming your B&M didn't consider this English II either?

The B&M has an Eng Comp II, but they list in the description as this Eng 114 being the second of the series of two. They don't tell you what the first one is, so it's easy to assume Eng Comp I is the first.
