Hi,
I am looking for a school that offers an advertising and marketing degree that has ultra low residency similar to those of the big 3 and will accept transfer credits from a Nationally Accredited school towards a degree that is Regionally Accredited.

Jacob, I'm sure there are a lot of degrees available via distance education in your major. However, your biggest problem will be finding a school that will accept NA credits towards an RA degree. That is a very tricky subject with many schools. I know Bellevue university has a great marketing degree, but I'm not sure they will accept NA credits. Good luck.

I don't know for sure if it fits your criteria because it does have some residency requirements, but since it is both NA and RA, American Public University or American Military University might fit the bill.

Also, dually RA and NA and based on demonstration of competency, Western Governors University, which offers B.S. majors in
Marketing Management, Sales and Sales Management, and other subjects in business.
You may have to meet the common requirement outside the Big Three of earning 30 sh from Western Governors, but you can do so at much your own pace and, especially if your pace is quick, quite affordably.

I have seen this a lot and I know WGU is both NA and RA. But ... does anyone know for sure they will take NA credits towards an RA degree? Or will they put NA credits towards their NA degree? I know very little about WGU.

Forgot to specify a couple of things. Would like to pursue a Masters in the subject. I have a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from a RA brick and mortar school. I was looking to see if there are any universities like WNMU or ENMU that are very cheap for out of state students.

You really need to clarify what you are trying to do. There isn't some ultra-low residency option at the graduate level.

Why are the waters muddied with the NA talk? If you have a BA from an RA school there are a lot of Graduate School options. Did you start an NA Grad program or something?
Amberton and AMU/APU are both worth a look, I understand AMU/APU in particular are friendly to NA credits at the undergrad and grad level.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I wanted to start a Masters program at New Charter because it was cheap and transfer the units when I was almost done to a NA/RA university. I would like to leave open the possibility of teaching and most colleges (90%) would like a masters from a regionally accredited institution. Are there any that offer an interdisciplinary degree? I was thinking something in Media Broadcasting or Media Marketing/Advertising.

The biggest problem you will likely have here is not NA vs RA, but the fact that most masters require the bulk of your work to be done in residence at their college....but again Amberton and AMU/APU are good bets with both accepting around 12 credits in transfer.
I have no idea on any media related degree's as such. I suspect the unique nature of such a program would drive the cost up considerably. The program I am in is cheap (part time) at around $7K, Master of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies...but we are talking Writing/Psych/Criminal Justice/History/etc... WNMU is cheap for out of staters if you take less than 2 courses/semester.

Your idea has merit...but I don't believe you will find an easy way to pull it off. I would pick an affordable RA option and get to work....if fact thats what i did.
