Need help planning BA in Liberal Arts at Excelsior

Just to add onto my previous post regarding tuition assistance through work: if you work at Pizza Hut, you get a 50% discount at EC. That makes your degree about $3500 there.

Also, I thought that Univ of Md Global doesn't have a History degrees, but I was wrong - it does. So if you can find a job at a company that will pay for your tuition there, you can get your degree for free. They are part of the Guild Education Program - so companies like Walmart, Taco Bell & Chipotle. I think Papa John's pays 100% of tuition there as well. Bellevue University has a History degree as well, which is covered $5250/yr at Chipotle and Taco Bell (not sure on Walmart).

All of these schools take 90cr of ACE, so you can use the tuition plans solely for that last 30cr and get done with your degree quickly (you're not committing to work at these places for 4 years!).

And BTW - a lot of these are directly funded, meaning you don't come out-of-pocket for costs - the companies pay the school directly and as long as you don't drop classes or fail, you'll never pay a dime.

I think they take it as an elective and not as an English Comp replacement.
