One of the biggest attributes a college degree shows employers is your ability to set and hit long and short term goals. Congratulations on a significant and well deserved reward, good luck in your future endeavors and pay it forward!

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Thanks so much everyone!!! I did not get a chance to attend commencement for my A.S. as I graduated in July and I am all for folks celebrating, so its only right to do it up! Glad so many folks are at COSC with me and elsewhere pursuing their educational goals. My transcript truly looks like someone was target practicing. 4 schools, 20 years, credits in everything from Art Education, to Business, to IT (B.A.S., B.S. and B.A. degree pursuits anyone???) and I finally settled down and got my mind right to finish ONE... Fear not, the end is in sight!
(I did get an A.S. and an A.A.S. out of the deal in 2006 and just kept going randomly.) Now on to graduate school for whoever will have me...
