If you look at my lengthy signature
you'll see my short term academic goals. I'd like to share my longer term goals with everyone (in my short time on this board I've earned a lot of respect for all of you). If anyone is wondering why there is not more CLEP testing on my plan below it's because I don't like testing, I tend to freeze and not do my best so online learning has been like manna from the Gods for me. I've also rediscovered how much I enjoy learning. It has not always been easy since I started last year, but I get a kick out of using what I've learned in my current job and just learning in general.
My first goal is to get my BSBA with CIS electives from TESC as outlined below.
After I complete that I am going to go right into getting a BS in Organizational Leadership at TESC.
Next, back to TESC for Master of Science in Management.
Finally, get an MBA. Maybe by then TESC will be offering an MBA program.
I'm 45 now and my plan is to get this done by 52. After that, who knows. Thanks for letting me share and I would welcome your comments.

That is a well thought out plan. I know what you mean by enjoying the learning. I just completed my AA in June and am now enrolled for my BA. I will be at least 55 when I finish.
I was interested to see so much PLA work on your signature. I have 30 years rxperience in a laboratory and many, many hours of volunteer work. I have been putting off PLA because it looks so intimidating to me. Have you found it more or less work then an OL course? Was it difficult to prove any knowledge?
As for testing I only see one TECEP you took and it had an essay if I remember correctly. Why don't you try a CLEP or DSST. I understand testing is not for everyone, but I found the TECEP's the most stressful, something about the format or what I don't know. Now Ias I take more CLEP/DSST I get more and more relaxed and ~$100 for a test is not a bad loss if it doesn't work. I enjoy learning what I need for test then going deeper on my own time if I find something I want to know more about. It would take time off your plan. Remember you only need to pass at TESC a 44 on my Hist of Vietnam would have earned me the same CR as my 66 did.

Because it's there! hilarious
Seriously, why not. The leadership classes at TESC blend well into the TESC Masters program so I can knock that out in a short amount of time. Plus, the leadership classes in the BS would help me in my current position. Plus I have to sign a special contract with my current employer when I enter a Master program. Getting the second BA would put that off a little longer.

Thank you for your kind words about my plan.
I just finished my PLA in Business Letter and Report Writing I (BLWI). I was very nervous going in but was able to complete it three weeks ahead of schedule. Much less work than any of the OL classes I’ve taken. The mentor was very easy to work with and convinced me to take BLWII as PLA with her as the mentor. In fact she told me I already exhibited enough competencies that I should have no problems.
When I started this last year I had never heard of a CLEP/DSST and since I had only received a ‘D’ in English in 1981 I had to take Comp I and II at TESC. Comp I went very well and at the end my mentor suggested taking the TECEP for II. That’s what I did and it also went very well. If I had known about the CLEP I may have went that route right off the bat. Although TESC will only take the CLEP with essay so you can’t get out of it.
Now, this is my 2 cents. Between the two of us we now have 4 cents. If we do this 248 more times we can split a cup of coffee at Starbucks

Wow thats a plan and a half. You are booked all the way into 2010. You could get it done quicker with only 45 credits to finish.
