Kind of a BS post, but I'm curious. This forum goes pretty far back from what I can see. Who is the longest running member in this forum that is currently active (at least every now and then)?

It may be somewhat obvious, the co-owner or admin/webmaster would probably be the person... I just did a quick member search at the top menu, and sorted by join date, on the first page, one of our moderators should be the longest running member.

Speaking of moderators par excellence, I can't imagine this place without you, so I was a little surprised to realize you signed up ten years after it started. I mean, I was here before you? Inconceivable!

Yes, I've been in the education landscape before Y2K. Lurked on DegreeInfo for a year or so before I joined in Oct 2002. Actually never really became an active member until 2016, after a vacation in Hawaii winter of 2015, I wanted to follow my educational dream and post about how I did things...

I was a lurker here for a while before creating an account as well, but to think that the sister forum has been around that long and you created an account back in 2002.... kind of crazy to think that you've been a member for the past 23 years (your account may be older than some of the members in this forum -- jeez). I take the perspective of the internet as it's still in its youth, but seeing how old some forums are, I am quickly reminded that it is beginning to age.

Who's been here the longest aside from moderators/admins? That might be difficult since so many people come and go where they disappear.

I'm not a mod/admin here, and I created my account in 2014. I haven't always been all that active, though.

I may have been here as long as anyone who still posts regularly. Signed up in 2015 when I was getting close to finishing up at TESU. I do know that most of the frequent posters back then aren't around anymore.
