Can anyone tell me how close the DSST Life Span Development Practice Exams is to the actual DSST Exam itself? Dsst Life Span Practice Exam is only 50 questions, I'm aware that the actual exam is closer to 90-95 questions, however my question is more in regards to the content on the DSST Practice Exam. Thanks

It would depend on what practice exam you did. Was it from DSST or was it from a book like REA or was it a Peterson practice exam? If you are a paying IC member check the specific exam feedback. I took CLEP Human Growth and development which is an equivalent exam and the practice test I took was close to the exam. Usually the general content is the same as in practice test, but it also depends on the version you get.

I am scheduled to take DSST Life Span next week. I am studying the IC Flashcards (CLEP Human Growth and Development). IC doesn't have flashcards for DSST's Life Span.
I have been takeing both the CLEP Human Growth Life Span Practice Test (several times), and have taken DSST's Life Span Practice Exams several times as well. Also Education Portal has video and practice test as well. I just wanted to make sure that I am covering all bases.
Each time I take DSST's Practice Exams the questions are never the same. (You have to pay for DSST's practice exams each time you take one).

There is a free Peterson's site where you can take practice test, but it is only free if you are in the service or your local library supports it. Do a search on this forum for Petersons and you will find info. As long as you are getting more then 50% right on practice test you should be fine for the real thing. Did you check out the specific exam feedback on this forum? It can be a goldmine of tips and study guides
