NOOO! Eat some carrots and drink some grape/radish juice! It will make you feel a whole lot better, not worse that that icky icky ice cream will!

Hmmm... I guess I should just call it a night. Every time someone reacts to what I say, I feel like I have to explain that I didn't mean what you think I mean and I just keep getting people mad at me.
Ayyyeee! Let me try again tomorrow.

FYI, I PMed a mod, asking for this thread to be deleted. I'll try to find a more neutral way to say what I meant to express tonight.

No eating worms just lots of holiday goodies.
Lol... my 80 on Spanish is the highest score I'll ever see by far. I lived in Guadalajara for six years and didn't speak much English when I was there so glad I could translate it into credits.

I'm not defensive, I'm grateful.
30+ years ago I spent 3 years in residency at a B&M university having a great time, and I have the GPA to prove it! Since then I moved to another university town, one with a research 1 university, a community college, and a second university. One would think I could have finished my degree at one of the B&M options, but they all want quite a few 'extra' hours in residence before they will grant a degree. Not to mention that pesky problem of having to drive across town to have my behind in their seat...
So for me the Big 3 are a perfect solution. I'm finishing the degree because it's one of 2 things on my 'what's holding you back' list (personal, not professional, because I work for myself as a political researcher and consultant). I don't like having 'unfinished business' in my life so it's time to finish it.
I know that some may look at the methods I am choosing and think 'there were cheaper/faster/easier/better options' but I'm making the best choices for me. (FEMA tests for example instead of CLEP/DSST for some LL applied professional hours) But this is my degree, these are my choices, and I'm happy with them. I hope everyone else can be as happy with their choices as I am with mine.
And I'll be proud to say I'm and Excelsior College graduate when that day comes--sometime in the next 24 months. Unless I pick up some extra clients, in which case it will be delayed a few months. Gotta pay the bills!
