Lamar University: One Free Graduate Level Course

I have now finished one of those free courses, and I had a great experience, honestly. Do you know how the process for the graduate credits works? The course ended at the beginning of October.. I finished everything, but there is still no update.

I also just finished a Lamar course.  I took AI for Business Applications.  It was a very good course.  I ended up with a 91%.

You should be able to see your unofficial transcript at this point.  Login to the LU Connect Page.  On that page is the Banner: Self Serv page.  Click on that then you click on student information and there is an option for an unofficial transcript.  It already lists my grade for this course.

Also, before you move on from Lamar, you can sign up for the school's free Google Certificate and AI Essentials programs.  You can earn ACE credit for these certificates.

I was on the same course! Thank you for the instructions! I was able to print my unofficial transcript. Is there any chance of getting an official one? Because I am considering transferring those credits into a graduate program in the USA or abroad.

Great to see that there are other interesting programs at LU, I am working on two graduate programs. I need to check how time-consuming those offers are.

Yes. I would think that you can have them sent via Parchment at this point.

Just so you know, this is the second free course I have taken with Lamar. I took one in fall of 2025 and this one in fall of 2026. I decided to see what would happen if I tried to register and they let me register for this one. So, I am hoping that I can do it again next fall.
