LSU courses for TESC
#1
So after I pass the Vietnam War DSST, I'll have 12 more 300level units to do.
What im gonna do is go for the remaining DSSTs that I can take (Middle East, World Religions, Rise & Fall).
Hopefully I'll pass one of them, but I'll be honest - because those tests seem to be hard, I don't wanna spend too much time on any of em. So if I fail em all - whatever.

So here's my thinking: take a couple ECEs that I will actually study for and a couple LSU classes.

Only thing is: I don't know which LSU courses are Upper Level and if TESC will accept them as such.
For instance, the American Revolution says its a 4000 course - so im assuming its upper level. But i dont wanna take it and then be screwed later.
Can anyone verify that there are some LSU courses that are upper level and accepted by TESC?

Thanks Creative! I thought that`s what is was but wasn`t sure. I`m a Louisiana resident but I wasnt aware that LSU offered dl classes. I guess I nevered considered them because I automatically assumed they would be too expensive.

They have the least expensive upper-level courses of anywhere that I am aware of. Unfortunately, they are just loose classes. LSU doesn't offer an online degree.

I'm enrolled with one, myself.

ECE = Excelsior College exams, correct? cheersmate

Are those exams similar to CLEP in format? Electronic, multiple choice, know results right away, 90-120 questions, etc?

I'm thinking of taking ECE for Microbiology that I need for my TESC degree.

Out of curiosity, how difficult are these LSU classes? How long does it take to complete one? Also, once you've got it done, how long does it take them to transfer it to your school?

Thanks!
