I don't think operations management courses will apply for UL in BALS. sorry.
Some SDC business courses for UL in BALS can include those that transfer in as COM or PSY. Also there are a few with MAN (cross reference it with the Gen ED list at tesu with "area C" gen ed) that have a communications or psychology feel to them.
TESU: BALS June 2021 (comm college, clep, sdc sophia coopersmith, SOS110, and capstone)

No, it won't work.
If you want Business-related courses that will work, thinks like Managerial Communications or Advanced Business Ethics or Organizational Behavior will work. So COMM, ETHICS, PSYCH courses.

If you want to take business classes, why not just go for a BSBA?

If the other person wants to take business classes, why not a BSBA?

Are you trying to find SDC courses with the least amount of writing to get done in a timely fashion for the BALS upper level credit? Is that the big picture goal of the person you are helping?
to the questions you asked .... SDC Bus 313 should work in BALS at tesu because it transfers over as COM. SDC Bus 306 looks like it does not transfer into BALS because it transfers as HRM not Psych, or Soc, or Econ, or Philosophy/ethics....or comm, or the handful of MAN course in the gen ed section.

Thank you for all the feedback. Regarding the HRM-362 Human Resources Development (TESU), I thought HR Managemt is one of the LIB Studies concentrations, therefore an UL HRM class would/should be accepted towards said degree. In short, a combination of 15 cr from two or more the following areas: COMM, CS,AOJ, GM,HEALTHCARE MGT,PSY,SOC,AND HRM should work, right?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- II. Area of Study: Liberal Studies Students select option A or B 30 A. Students complete a total of 30 credits of Liberal Studies courses that include at least 15 credits at the 300/400 level and no more than 6 credits at the 100 level. 30 B. Students select an 18-credit concentration from the list below and complete an additional 12 credits of Liberal Studies courses. Communications Computer Science Criminal Justice General Management Healthcare Management Health and Wellness Human Resources Management Humanities Labor Studies Natural Sciences/Mathematics Psychology Social Sciences https://www.tesu.edu/heavin/ba/liberal-studies (01-22-2021, 07:39 AM)P226mem Wrote: Are you trying to find SDC courses with the least amount of writing to get done in a timely fashion for the BALS upper level credit? But in the Lib Studies page, HRM is one of the concentrations along with PSY, SOC, GM, COMM, etc....What am I missing? |
