I just took my first clep Analyzing and interpreting literature and got a 48 Sad

I really don't know which Clep i should take next i have a principles of marketing clep book
but honestly don't know anything about it im starting from the ground up. Any recommendations?

EASY is a term i didn't mean to use in the title. So don't go off of that im just asking what one clep generally has a high passing rate.

Tell us more about your experience. Is English your native language? Did you run out of time? Did you have trouble with the literary terms and definitions? Are you a slow reader? Are you better at recalling objective facts?

And most importantly, what interests you? Easiness is in the eye of the beholder. Things you just can't stand probably aren't good candidates for being easy.

Read the entire marketing book from cover to cover. Do all the practice tests and study the ones you got wrong. Leave the last practice test for right before you take the exam to determine if you are ready. Since you have practice tests you will not fail as long as you use them correctly. Good luck. Marketing is not that hard of a test but take this seriously and spend an honest 20 hours on studying.

Yes english is my native language im in the military. No i had 33 minutes left out of the 90 minutes given. It wasn't so much the terms and definitions it was a little but there were some poems i just couldn't comprehend what they were about. I am a very fast reader. I think i can be better at recalling objective facts maybe its just me im not too sure. I actually like english alot i feel its one of my strongest subjects math being my weakest. I do like science and psychology alot.

Thanks for the tip. I definitely need to spend some serious time on this one. Is a week a good amount of time to spend on this material? I want to try my skill again and pass a clep i know i can do this considering how close i was for my first clep.

It really depends on how much time you spend on focused study during that week. I'd personally would spend (and spent) more time than a week for your 2nd CLEP. It really is worth to study over a long period of time and study from multiple content forms (audio- audio books, Video- Youtube). I'd spend more time on this one since you don't want to rush into another exam and possibly have another exam to be depressed over. I would say spend more time, work at it hard and enjoy the feeling of your first passing CLEP! Good luck!

I took 19 tests and I never found any of them easy - however - my favorite test was DSST Environment & Humanity - I spent three days studying a subject that I was fairly familiar with and passed with a 70.

Maybe you should just stay away from the literature tests. It's not a big deal. There are other ways to fulfill humanities requirements. You shouldn't encounter Middle English and Early Modern English in any of the non-literature tests. The DSST questions are easier to understand, imo. While we all have our different strengths and weaknesses, I think most people under the age of 45 should find the Intro to Computing DSST to be fairly easy.

Easy is the wrong word for this. What are cleps one should look into doing in order to get a feel. Anyway apparently it just depends on the person.

CLEP info sys is super simple but I would start with marketing as it is content you need to study for to learn however it is somewhat easy. Most computer literate people can walk into info sys and walk out with a pass. Analyzing and interpreting is the black sheep of the bunch because it does not test you on content.
