Ok, passing was 48 and I got a 50 lol ...It was pretty hard....some stuff on there I studied and a lot on there that I didn't study...

This is what I can remember to help anyone else who might take it.. (though it will most likely be different of course)

What country did Buddhism originate? (India is the correct answer)

Quite a few questions on which city/country is, for example, cold and wet in the winter and dry in the summer, etc... (had to guess on some)

Know what absolute location is as opposed to relative location

Know latitude vs longitude and where continents or countries lie in terms of latitude or longitude

Know the purpose of the green revolution

What causes the cold dry air on a January in NY

What cities are NOT megalopolis

Know how to read graphs that state population and available food

Where did 16th and 17th century pioneers settle (along coasts? along ... ? , etc)

Know how location is determined in terms of manufacturing

What is considered spatial distribution?

What is similiar to carrying capacity?

What are nonrenewable resources? (choices included coal, petroleum, etc)

Oh, quite a few questions on having to know about natural disasters...like what is a prevailing natural hazard?... (blizzard, hurricane, etc)

What country is landlocked? (Brazil Columbia, and to other choices)

HOw would you compare the size of Russia? (slightly smaller than the USA, same size as Texas, twice the size of Canada (correct answer), and one other I forget)

What is considered a local language? (Swahili is what I chose but do not if that's right...n I forget the other choices)

Where was the earliest Urban civilization?

Know differences between primary, secondary, tertiary activities...

Know the different models...like the Weber model , etc

Know what a primate city is.. (answer is London..I almost chose NY)

What is the most prominent religion in America?

Know what peripheries are...

What is the Heartland Theory? (Eurasia would rule)

I hope this helps someone.... :O)

Actually, they had it as Burkina Faso with Upper Volta in parentheses. I just couldn't remember the name lol

Man thanks for that.
Funny thing is I read your post yesterday and was like, what?
I have to take this test. So armed with your questions I purchased a 7 dollar ebook from borders and read it with my ipad.
I finished it tonight around 8pm and took the first practice test scoring 64/75 right.

I'll take the other 2 practice tests and make sure I can answer all of your braindumps. I know 90% of them after my cram reading session.

Thanks a lot. I should schedule the test on monday.
