Ok, passing was 48 and I got a 50 lol ...It was pretty hard....some stuff on there I studied and a lot on there that I didn't study...
This is what I can remember to help anyone else who might take it.. (though it will most likely be different of course)
What continent is Upper Volta on? (Africa is the correct answer)
What country did Buddhism originate? (India is the correct answer)
Quite a few questions on which city/country is, for example, cold and wet in the winter and dry in the summer, etc... (had to guess on some)
Know what absolute location is as opposed to relative location
Know how to read a pyramid bar graph
What foods originated in America
What is NOT a push factor (job opportunities is NOT a push factor)
Know latitude vs longitude and where continents or countries lie in terms of latitude or longitude
Know the purpose of the green revolution
What is the determining factors that label a country developing or not developing
What causes the cold dry air on a January in NY
What cities are NOT megalopolis
Know how to read graphs that state population and available food
Where did 16th and 17th century pioneers settle (along coasts? along ... ? , etc)
Know how location is determined in terms of manufacturing
What is considered spatial distribution?
What is similiar to carrying capacity?
What are nonrenewable resources? (choices included coal, petroleum, etc)
Oh, quite a few questions on having to know about natural disasters...like what is a prevailing natural hazard?... (blizzard, hurricane, etc)
What country is landlocked? (Brazil Columbia, and to other choices)
HOw would you compare the size of Russia? (slightly smaller than the USA, same size as Texas, twice the size of Canada (correct answer), and one other I forget)
What is considered a local language? (Swahili is what I chose but do not if that's right...n I forget the other choices)
Where was the earliest Urban civilization?
Know differences between primary, secondary, tertiary activities...
Know the different models...like the Weber model , etc
Know what a primate city is.. (answer is London..I almost chose NY)
What is the most prominent religion in America?
Know what peripheries are...
What is the Heartland Theory? (Eurasia would rule)
