I would recommend taking Business Communications over Philosophy. It comes in as Upper-Level Liberal Arts and the Philosophy final is 50% of the grade. You should consider taking more Shmoop or SL courses if you have a membership, if not then focus on whichever membership you currently have active. Update: AOS = Area of Study (Concentration or Minor)
Thanks! That's what I thought but I wanted to clarify, because assuming doesn't work well for me.
Regarding statistics, I am going to have to take it at a CC or Uni for my prerequisites. PA schools won't accept Test-out stats classes (verified with 4 enrollment advisors.) I'll be taking it after I finish up a bulk of the BA, so I can pre-study in between. I dread statistics.
Biz Comm replace Philosophy: done.
My SL membership expires today. I'm planning to spend the morning tomorrow working on codes so I can register for all 8 of the SL classes I have in the cart presently.
For those watching/wondering about evaluations:
COSC: I signed on for the public safety administration major, because I thought it sounded fun and my transfer units would stack nicely. They offered me 4 credits (4) for my Paramedic. Excelsior offered me 47.
TESU: They borked my eval and left things out. I had to resend my NREMT records to them on Monday, so we're a ways out still. I also sent them my ACE again as I have completed about 12 credits since I sent it in last.
Excelsior: They sent out an eval before all of my transcripts and PLA had come in. At the time (Feb 6) they evaluated 60 units, leaving me with 60 to go for the Health Education major. That sounded good at the time, but they have 24 units for the major and I don't know if any can be transferred. This does not include my ACE transcript.
If anyone is curious I can attach the evaluations to look at. I think COSC is off the table. Excelsior seems to have awarded a lot so that's interesting to me if I can change the major to BALS. As far as TESU I need to wait until everything is fixed on my file.
TESU gave me 6 credits for my NREMT Paramedic. This is in quite stark contrast to Excelsior that evaluated 47 for the same thing. I'm a little bit discouraged by this.

The key though, is how those credits count towards the degree that you want. If you get 47 credits, but are left with a bunch of credits that you need that are expensive or hard to find (like you have to take them at EC for $1500 per course), you could end up with a degree that's more expensive and takes longer than a degree from a school who gives you fewer credits but leaves you with a faster/cheaper/easier way to get the remaining credits.
It is always best after you get your evals, to create degree plans and determine what is REMAINING to be completed. That's how you compare apples-to-apples.

Here's my spreadsheet. I got A&P, a comms class, and Bio 1 out of it. I'm still confused as to how that's all they got...but hey.
Any thoughts on my progress?
Can I ask a favor of someone to take a look at this attachment, and compare it to my BALS template above and see if I have any dupes in this group, and with Straighterline's, Sociology, Nutrition, and Religion?

Thank you much!
Yes - there are duplicates. Women's Lit, Holocaust Lit.
Also, remove CIS-344 & BIO-206 from the AOS. It's no use to put 2cr courses in unless you have a 4cr course to make up for the missed credit. Move those up to the Gen Ed area. Move Intro to Nutrition, US History II up there as well.
If E-Commerce came in as CIS-360 (?? Where did you get that info), then move it up to the AOS if they will let you. Otherwise Gen Ed.

MUCHOS gracias. The CIS-360 came in like this on the eval from ACE. I don't know how they determined it. I'm making those changes and emailing them now.

They replied and made the changes already. Apparently CIS-360 can't go to AOS. This is the result of sending 3 emails, with 1 action per email. Let me know how you think this looks!
