I saw a feed recently that people weren’t liking the looks of the new diplomas. I will be done in August and now I am worried about it because I was super excited. Does anyone have a photo of theirs that I could see? The new version please

Just remember that no matter the look of the physical diploma, the degree will always look its best on your resume/CV

Hmm, Congrats on almost getting the diploma, August isn't too long of a wait... Get a good looking frame for that diploma and you're off to the races...

I think that it's because of the font they have chosen and the design they use for the "University of Maine at Presque Isle" text.
Most diplomas have a variation of the traditional Old English style text that's been used forever. UMPI now uses a standard and boring font that isn't very traditional.
I personally agree that the font being used now is cheesy and looks unprofessional. But luckily companies don't ask to see a physical copy, so no one is gonna see. I'll still frame mine, but it doesn't look as good as other degrees. :/
